Full program description

This curriculum module is designed to develop candidates’ initial understanding of how leadership characteristics as well as the relationship between leadership and management influence administrations’ decisions and actions. Candidates will understand how leadership characteristics influence the culture and success of a school, department, or institution. In the second session, this course will dive into introductory scenario dissection relative to the attributes most commonly associated with positive leadership styles. Furthermore, key leadership attributes will be connected to the importance of affecting change in an institution as well as connecting with the influencing factors that exist outside of a school and how the leader leverages those factors.
