With the political season heating up, many educators are passionate in expressing their political views on social media. While staff have the right to do this, that right is balanced against other critical issues. In this session, participants will learn how to analyze staff social media activity and determine whether or not it raises legal issues that must be addressed by the district. Participants will see numerous examples of ill-advised staff member social media posts and receive tips for responding effectively and not crossing the line in their own posts.
